Is your child struggling at school?
I can help you understand what’s going on and make a plan to help.
I support families in person across Kent and surrounding areas and online nationwide.
As a parent, nothing hits harder than knowing your child is struggling.
Perhaps your child is falling behind with learning and losing confidence in themselves.
Perhaps they are struggling to meet the behavioural expectations at school and feel misunderstood or like they don’t belong.
They may feel anxious or overwhelmed by the school environment, or finding it hard to attend school at all.
Many parents feel stressed, stuck, and as though their child’s difficulties are taking over family life.
Parents have usually tried many different ways to help their child. Many have waited for — or paid for — assessments, diagnoses, or reports, but have found these haven’t made the difference they were hoping for.
If you’re worried about your child and not sure what to do, you’re in the right place.
How I can help
As an experienced Child and Educational Psychologist, I have worked with hundreds of children, families and professionals across a wide range of needs. I understand how stressful and overwhelming it can feel when you’re worried about your child and not sure what to do.
I offer flexible, personalised support to help children who are struggling in school. I work with children and the adults around them to find ways forward that will work in real life, and I offer follow-up support so you’re not left on your own once a plan is in place.

Consultation and assessment
I support children and young people through consultation. This involves focused discussions with the adults around your child, with the aim of helping the adults better understand and support your child.
Where needed, consultation can be combined with assessment. This might include observations in school, questionnaires, or direct work with your child.
I will always meet with you and your child’s school alongside any assessments, so that we can discuss any new information arising from the assessment and agree actions together.

Interventions to support learning and wellbeing
I also work directly with children and young people, usually alongside consultation and assessment.
This work may involve:
helping them understand how their unique brains work and how they learn best
developing learning and study skills, including executive functioning, memory, and problem-solving
exploring how they see themselves and experimenting with more helpful ways of thinking
supporting them to understand and manage challenging thoughts and feelings
Services and Fees

£120 for one hour
£350 for half a day
£600 for one day
Please note, fees are regularly reviewed and may change.

Yes, I offer a flexible approach.
Sometimes, families like to begin with a consultation and then see if anything else is needed.
Sometimes, families choose to add additional sessions after an assessment, e.g., learning discovery sessions, coaching, or therapeutic sessions.

It is usually best to carry out any assessments in school, as this allows me to observe your child’s usual learning environment and involve the staff who are working with your child.
If your child is not attending school, I may arrange a home visit or an alternative meeting place such as a local library.
